Tis time for the annual message of hopelessness and despair.
Yes, so, erm, were all going to die in a horrible and violent way, our souls are not going to go to the afterlife like the all-knowing priestly holly person told us, just a big black void of nothingness...
But why does this make us sad? Surely we won't really care when we shuffle off our mortal coil and fall head first into oblivion, it's just the knowledge that one day this is going to happen...
But then why do we treat this knowledge with just fear and angstyness, we have so much to live for between then and now, we have stunning sunsets, passionate kisses, hopes, fears, tears, loves, lost loves and all the rest.
Yeah! Life’s for living, and not worrying about all the other crap.
So go live :)

Uggly Betty... I'll invest in a digi box when they add a little black button to the controller; which if pressed enough times, will kill the producers of the current television program in a way appropriate to their crimes against the medium.

Don't give into the temptation of a well paid 9-5 job, no matter how satisfying it is. For it is the evil ! the evil of Kittens !
And in 10 years you'll have a boat and a house, but will you haved lived ?
Har har, --------- And we'll laugh and sing, for we will know the world. We will know it's glorious pleasures and deepest blackest evils. We will know it's warm summer days, crisp crunchy autumn nights, and dark cold winters**. We will know it's corruption and it's hatred. We will know it's purity and love. And you will know nothing*. The world will stop turnning and you will still know nothing. Power structures will crumble and you will still know nothing. Seas will boil and rise to consume us all, and you will still know nothing. Until it's too late, and then you'll be dead. ----------
In death we know everything, because there is nothing to know.
----------
** With that yummy nostalgic smokeyness. * Apart from lots and lots of PHP, but even the most glorious of web languages cannot replace life ! |

Brighton - Lucie + uni friends - Crap, insecure, unsure, depressed.
Woooo pattern.
I'm just not good around people, never have been, never will be. But it's not people in general; I'm fine with worky peoples... I'm fine dealing with help desk peoples ... Just fiendish peoples *sigh*.
Oh and I made a website…

It's a work in progress so don't judge too harshly. |

Bastard moving, this will be the fifth time in 12 months, gah :| Everything’s packed up*again*, though I managed to condense it down to three plastic boxes one cardboard box and a huge red bag thing. Then there’s computery stuff and the 21" TV which I somehow acquired last year....
But yey last move in two years I hope... Still feeling pretty bitter about Beth though... Garr.
If it wasn't for her I would have been living in a party house of coolness and intelligent conversation, but now I’m just living in a house of intelligent conversation which sucks... Because you need a balance between the two being all studenty and all. There's just no way I can feel very positive towards her atm anyway, even thinking about the whole thing brings out all kinds of mental instabilities *sigh*. ----
Anyway Italy was fun :) I met a perty girl by the name of Lucie who is evil incarnate... we did the whole week and a bit holiday romance thing *yey*... But I really like her, she’s easy to get on with despite being quite scratchy (in the physical sense) and a lil abrasive, too bad she has a b/f and lives in Lancaster (300 miles Lancaster to Brighton). Not sure whether I should feel guilty about the whole b/f thing, oh well he seemed a bit like a twat, and stuff on another continent doesn't count anyway does it? |

When our tale left off I was just starting with ITS as a network monkey extending the wired roaming network, under the supervision of Kelvin Pope. When that work ended I got poached by Tessa in Head of workstation services, an amazingly helpfull and lovely person if there ever was one, I have seriously never met someone quite so helpfull and so friendly.
Anyway found out a couple of days ago that i've been offered an Internship which is like totally amazing. I get a year off uni, It looks great on my CV, and gives me a huge advantage over like every other university leaver and i get paid £16-£18k for learning ?!
Like omfg awesome pwned
Go me go me go me go me.
See I have to give myself support because my parents don't and my friends are jealous :P
Seriously I rang my mum and she was like hmm whats an Internship, but you are going back uni though arn't you ? :| All in a rather unimpressed voice. See because I don't get A's in academic tests i'm not really good enough for her, this is coming from someone who used to work as a table dancer and who dropped out of uni in the second year after plagerising heavily in the first.
Whatever.
Hope everyones good :) |

"Lisa moved like a cat, not the kind of cat that moves with a slinky grace but more like the kind that always falls off the book shelf when he's washing himself and then gets all mad at you like it's your fault (which it wasn't although it probably was kind of mean to laugh at him like that), although on the bright side, she hardly ever attacked Ricky's toes in his sleep."

Twill be mine in two days :)
Though it doesn't look that impressive I assure you it is quite amazingfull. Ok so most monitors tilt backward and forwards ... This does that, then it changes height and rotates , you can literally turn the panel and the screen will switch into portrait mode !! How cool is that ?! And how utterly useless.... It's a neat party trick, though i have no idea why would you want to show people your monitor at a party.
But anyway I <3 it, and i can finally get doing some designy stuff again, woohoo. |

Haha fun day of bike bumpstarting,
Tip: If you know your batterys dead and you've bumpstarted the bike to get it going, don't check to see if the battery has started to charge 20 miles from anywhere on a country lane, less you discover just how difficult it is to push half a ton of bike up a steep incline.
Apart from that good day :)
Though i think i've developed an intolerance to processed food, too much healthy eating :P
*yawn* Anyway sleepsy nighty night |
